Such a location - on the roof of the existing building of the Sevcabel Port - makes it possible to create a fragment of a complete urban environment with all the necessary open and closed spaces, but at 'sky level'. It is a space within a space that can exist both autonomously and in conjunction with the rest of the Sevcabel Port Site. The architectural appearance also implies an autonomous perception of the superstructure, built on the contrast between the existing, industrial architecture of different periods and the new contrasting architecture, not included in the dispute, but creating a unique image for the whole area.
The spatial construction of the elements of architecture and landscaping is based on a modular system, 'leaning' on the existing framework of the building. New modules grow out of the system of the existing frame and form a structure, filled with architectural objects in places where it is required and elements of environment design in the areas of open public spaces. The result is a system of three-dimensional pixel modules stacked on top of each other. The modular system allows the unification of many structural solutions, provides flexibility to the layouts and makes it possible to create an active, memorable silhouette of the superstructure.
