JOON — an open-air summer music bar inspired by Asian street culture. The elongated space with a continuous bar counter brings together a series of loosely composed small lounge areas — an analogue of a lively Tokyo street, with its density of activities and contrasts of functions within just a few square meters. Here, we experimented with materials: sofas made from construction mesh, a DJ booth and tables built from aerated concrete blocks bound with straps. Entrance zones are made of mesh combined with colored dichroic film that refracts light.

Color and texture were also part of the experimentation; some of the prints were generated with the help of AI. Diverse and насыщенные elements come together as a unified whole.

Art, posters, stickers, and signage — all integral to Japanese pop culture — form a parallel narrative layer that closely inhabits the space.
