A spacious two-room suite with high ceilings is located in the central part of the hotel building. The walls preserve historic stucco detailing, as well as a large antique mirror framed by profiled pilasters and an oval stucco medallion.
The calm grey tone of the walls contrasts with the red velvet upholstery, creating a subtle sense of theatricality, while the pattern and texture of the carpets evoke the layered structure of a ballet tutu. Contemporary art elements are introduced through wall panels, including a two-meter embroidered musical staff by artist Evgenia Tut, and the sculpture *“Ballerinas”* by ceramic artist Artemy Maksimau.
An antique grand piano from 1906, produced by the first piano factory in Saint Petersburg, Diederichs Frères, occupies a central place in the living area.
In this project, it was essential to convey the atmosphere of a composer’s private space—restrained, камерное (intimate), and filled with silence. We sought a precise balance between history and modernity, allowing the interior to resonate softly yet confidently—like the final chord of a symphony.
